# Evendeals

> Sync location-based purchasing power parity discount codes from Evendeals into your Dodo Payments account for one-time and subscription products.

## Introduction

[Evendeals](https://www.evendeals.com/integrations/dodo-payments) creates location-based purchasing power parity (PPP) discount codes in your Dodo Payments account and keeps them in sync. The codes work with one-time and subscription products, and Evendeals replaces them on a schedule you define.

<Note>
  Dodo Payments has native [Purchasing Power Parity](/features/purchasing-power-parity), which lowers prices by country at checkout with no banner, no script, and no discount codes to manage. Use Evendeals if you want the discount-code approach with automatic code rotation.
</Note>

## How It Works

Evendeals connects to your Dodo Payments account with an API key. In Evendeals, you set a percentage discount for each country group. Evendeals then creates the discount codes in your Dodo Payments account and rotates them on a schedule you set: by time interval, redemption count, or view count. Rotation limits abuse, because a leaked code expires and a new one replaces it.

Visitors see the code for their country in an Evendeals banner or popup, which you add to your site with the Evendeals script tag. You can also show the code in your own UI with the Evendeals API.

## Evendeals vs Native PPP

Native Purchasing Power Parity is the recommended way to price by country. It needs no discount codes, so there is no code to share or abuse. Choose Evendeals when you want the discount-code approach.

The two options compare as follows:

| | Native PPP | Evendeals |
| :- | :- | :- |
| How it works | A percentage per country, applied at checkout | A percentage off, applied through a discount code |
| Where it's configured | Built into Dodo Payments | Evendeals dashboard |
| Banner or script required | Not required | Required: the Evendeals script tag (banner or popup) or the Evendeals API |
| Coupon rotation / auto-refresh | Not applicable | Yes |
| Subscription support | Yes | Yes |
| Best for | Correct prices with no site changes | Discount-code approach with automatic rotation |

## Key Features

The integration covers the full lifecycle of each discount code:

* **Automatic coupon sync**: Evendeals creates and manages the discount codes in Dodo Payments.
* **Percentage discounts**: You set a percentage off for each country group.
* **Subscription support**: Discounts apply across subscription billing cycles.
* **Auto-refresh rules**: Evendeals rotates codes by time interval, redemption count, or view count.
